COMPUTER PROBLEMS ALMOST FIXED AT LAST.

I am sorry I did not get the chance to wish you all a Happy Christmas as my new satellite system was not installed till Dec 24th,then we had a few teething problems with it ,still to be fixed but everyone is still on holiday.

We had a pleasant, quiet Christmas with our children and Grandchildren, the weather was mild, though wet and grey, not a snowflake in sight.Anyway,I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas, did any of you have snow on Christmas morning.?

I have not had time to take many photographs lately, but here are a couple of the birds on the feeder that I can see from the window.

 Blue tits,chaffinch,gold finch,coal tits.
A blackbird with very unusual white marking on it's neck.I have seen them with white feathers on their wings or tails, but never like this one.

A bullfinch,a rare visitor to our garden.
As the weather has been so mild we have not had the rarer birds that we had last year, brought in by the exceptional arctic conditions that lasted for almost three months.
Thats all for today, will be posting on a regular basis from now on.
I wish you all a happy peaceful new year and look forward to continuing my blog friendship with you all.

  2. A very Happy Christmastide to you as well. No snow here in North Central Alabama, but the weather is quite cold. Glad that you are up and blogging again and am looking forward to your posts! Happy New Year!

  3. It's good to have you back posting, Carolyn! I'm a bird watcher, too, and I always love seeing birds and especially those which we don't have here in the mid-west states. I'm having a hard time already keeping the feeders filled up!
I wish you and your family a wonderful and Happy New Year!

  4. Glad you're back! You really have a great variety of birds that visit. There are sources that list a lot that list a lot more in my area than I actually see, so I'm apparently doing something wrong! Glad you had a good holiday with you're family...we didn't have snow in Delaware or Oregon!
