Spring has definitely arrived at last, there are flowers in the garden and the wild life is evident on the lake, the garden birds are pairing off and getting their breeding plumage.
The frogs returned ,though I did not get a photograph of them this year unfortunately, the hares are also back in abundance which is nice to see.
Here are some photos I have taken over the last week,a mixed bunch, but at least the weather was nice enough to actually get out and have fun.
The mallards on the lake.
One of the hares.
A gold finch.
Freddie, full of the joys of Spring, though since these pictures were taken he has been to the vet for his little operation and he is feeling very sorry for himself at the moment.!!!!
The next photos are of of my two youngest Grand children, they were given a treat at my sons fire station.
Well thats all for the time being, hope you are all well wherever you are in the world.
Carolyn.

Aah, what lovely pictures, you are most definitely showing signs of life once again !
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of the hare, and Freddie bouncing like a Spring lamb :0

Freddie seems to enjoying himself! Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteHi Carolyn, your photos are great! I love the one of Freddie with his feet off the ground. Cute! Your grands are adorable!
ReplyDeleteIt's beginning to feel like spring here, too. I am more than ready even though we didn't have much of a winter this year. I'm just ready to see some green grass and flowers!
What great pictures! Sweet grandchildren. I do like the one of Freddie flying, love'em all.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of Freddie flying, back when was still a whole man (I am assuming that was the operation you are talking about).
ReplyDeleteTerrific pictures!
ReplyDeleteYou're very good at capturing Nature and its animal inhabitants.
I particularly like the two pictures of Freddie displaying joy and sorrow, and the one with the hare in pensive mood.
The 'raisin of the cake' is the last picture with your adorable little grandchildren sitting on the front of the big red Rescue machine. How sweet!
Great shot of the fred monster! You just missed the focus on his eyes, but great timing well done. A picture to be proud of.
